The article is devoted to the analysis of the activities of the state authorities of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, which contributed to the victory of the Soviet Union over Nazi Germany. The work examines the processes of centralization of state power on the legal basis of the USSR and the Kazakh SSR on the eve of the war and during the war years. The role of Kazakhstan in the economic system of the Soviet Union in the pre-war and military periods is determined, as well as the impact of propaganda activities in the Republic in 1941-1945 is analyzed. to the effectiveness of comprehensive assistance to the front. The war years became a period of a significant rise in the patriotic mood of the population and the rapid development of various industrial sectors of the Kazakh SSR, thanks to which the Republic became an important rear center and an important source of military and economic potential of the Soviet Union.
