Abstract
The article examines the current state of service cynology in foreign countries. Objective
provisions on the most promising areas of application of dogs by foreign countries for official
purposes have been formed. Based on the method of analogy, proposals have been prepared for
the introduction of advanced achievements of service cynology into the activities of the Border
Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
